Job Rambles

iamagrasshoppermouseOh and in a slightly embarrassing announcement--my new snazzy shortform resume? Wasn't saving properly to PDF format. It was cutting it off. And I applied to like fifteen jobs like that, lol.
It has now been fixed and I'm doing a slower application roll this week--every application gets a cover letter. And I need to get set up on my state's employment board and my school's employment board. And I have the long form resume hand-written out, I just need to type it up. I did apply for unemployment, finally. I don't think I'll get it, but at least I tried.
We're doing okay money-wise but I have GOT to leave this apartment. This is the longest I've been unemployed in years. I'm climbing the walls. My husband isn't entirely thrilled if only because when I get bored I start making Big Changes to our living spaces and my life. He is slightly thrilled because I've had, like, five whole days I've actually relaxed and done absolutely nothing. He has been trying for 9 years now to have that happen.
