iamagrasshoppermouseI'm starting to pack (still 1-3 months until we move but I LOVE moving). And it's amazing that even with my concentrated efforts over the last year or so to start getting rid of excess how much stuff is still left.
Bright side: it's much easier for me to figure out 'sparking joy' when packing.
So far I'm just tackling things like reference books, completed costumes, blankets, etc. Once we are within a month I'll start narrowing in on things we use more often. But even with that narrow scope I've got a donation box ready to go and another box of books went to the local library.
I start my job next Monday (yay!) so I really want to focus on getting as much done as possible this week. My sewing machine comes next week--Errants (husband) and I talked it out and he thought I was being silly by delaying a new machine. And I kind of agreed. I have been climbing the walls with no job and no sewing machine. My old one is still good for garment sewing so I'm going to put it with the other donations, plus the manual and any attachments that don't work with my new machine.
