Thank you! And for finishing quilts, it depends. I normally like to completely hand finish them but since I'm under a time crunch I'm going to do machine quilting and machine on half the binding but then do the final binding step by hand.

And thank you for that. I have a lot to remember her by so I'm getting very excited that I get to share bits of her memory with other people...even if they don't know it, I will. I accidentally landed on a pretty cool spiral design for the aloha prints so I'm just cutting out the other 3 squares now. I have minimal bits of one of the fabrics so it's going to be a piecing adventure to get them all together.
