Life Update
Dec. 10th, 2018 10:30 pmToday was the last day of my Finance class! I will sincerely miss it--it was lovely to talk about the ins and outs of investing and how the world of finance works. It was very shallow since it's an overview class but it helped me narrow down my eventual 4 year degree down to three possible options: accounting, finance, economics. I just love the behind the scenes aspects of business too damn much. May as well make money off of my obsession.
Next semester I'm back up to two+ classes at a time. It was great to take a breather but I really need to get this degree done. I can only advance so much in my career until I have at least an AS and then I'll only be able to hit the corporate levels I have my eye on when I finish my BS.
The job hunt is progressing, already, which is pretty dang cool. I've gotten some general interest and been getting assessments and updates from HRs but I haven't cracked the interview invite yet (boo). I've still been sending out my crappy resume. Tomorrow I'm going to stay home and rest and work on at least one snazzy resume I can send out. Eventually I want three separate ones for the different skill sets I have but one will do for now. There's also a job fair coming up at my community college so I need to print out some paper resumes and pull out my interview outfits to prep for that over the next week.
I've forgotten how uplifting and energizing it is to get the heck out of toxic situations.
PS--holy shitballs I forgot about moods, music, location, etc. This really is like a blast from the past.
